On January 6th. 1942 The Russian Foreign Minister, Molotov hands over information on the Babi-Yar massacre, as well as other mass actions and locations of graves are disclosed to British and US Governments.
January 6th. 1943 Some 2,000 of Ujazd Jews are murdered Treblinka. Elsewhere, Ion Antonescu’s forces detain and execute scores of disbanded Fascists after another attempt by the Iron Guard to wrest away control of Antonescu’s Romanian government.
January 6th. 1944 As Russian Forces are in Byelorussia, as Jewish Partisan activity escalates.
January 6th. 1945 Edith Frank died in Birkenau of the debilitating effects of Exhaustion and Hunger which had wasted her resolve to survive. Also, Ala Gertner, Roza Robota, Regina Szafirztajn, and Estusia Wajcblum were all Hanged in Birkenau for Resistance action within the Death Camp.
“..I entered Roza’s cell ..on ..cold concrete floor lay a figure looking like a bundle of worn-out clothes. At ..sound of ..door opening ..she turned to face me. I almost didn’t recognize her. Her eyes stayed ..same ..they looked gloomy and sad. Moments passed before a heavy sigh broke out from her heart. She then spoke her last words:
