January 9th. 1941 Hitler abandons plans to invade Britain.

January 9th. 1942 1,000 Theresienstadt Jews deported to Riga.

January 9th. 1943 Himmler is in Warsaw as a precursor to the final liquidation of the 50,000 or so Jews still Surviving in Warsaw’s Ghetto. The Jewish Fighting Resistance however, spurred Himmler to act more swiftly against the ill equipped Jewish Resisters as 8,000 more of Warsaw’s Jews are ordered toward their final ‘resettlement.’ Himmler now issues his 3rd. order for the final clearance of Jews from the Generalgouvernment. The German People’s Winter Aid Campaign wrote to the German administration of the Lodz Ghetto complaining that a part of the clothing sent from Chelmno was marked with The Jewish Badge.
