It is apparent that so many of you have recently joined us, so I need to greet you and simply wish you all a huge welcome. In that, I will remind you also that this is my particular effort, and it is from a deep sense of shame that we are in this need for commemoration. For all of those of you who seek out, as I do, the very terms of the betrayal of societal norms we wish to explore, we move toward an understanding we can Never come to terms with. So please, feel free to join in stating for you, your position here. In all that matters, it is essential for me, that within that searching for what is the incomprehensible nature of the atrocity, we seek to learn how we move forward toward learning. The very remit of my own effort, which dares to even attempt to try, and understand the inhumanity we explore here, is an ever increasing necessity. For that very reason, my work continues to seek out newer avenues of research, and expand the traces of time so denied to over 6,000,000 Jewish People. 

That richly absorbing, and tragically sad demand, is so as to broaden out the brush strokes of our own civilization that was being carefully dismantled. The entire Murderous endeavour has repercussions for us all, and we feel them to this day. Thus, My own idea for

         The Holocaust Library

is to share a value for All Human life. The fact that an acknowledgement of what was so richly abandoned by the Germans, and their cohort of collaborators, is essential. It is in the hope to ever come to terms with what was done, and what was allowed to be achieved. It is during a period of time that we now explore in which the ramifications for all of humanity’s investiture which comes back to challenge us. My own library’s content, which forms but a small part of the research I have undertaken, is in my own expanding reach for over 6,000,000 Jewish Souls, who are Systematically sought out for Slaughter. Within this extended effort, we confront the irrational assembly of aims to somehow justify the ritually Exterminated Jews we wish to recall, and remember. In this period of gravest infamy, my use of language is profoundly coarse. Clearly, and as it deals in such an atrocity, the human abuse of such Evisceration had not been so adequately nor previously measured. The fact we are directed at a lack of understanding, which the Jewish People must recognise of us, requires us to make ever more inroads into commemorating all that the Jewish loss entails. 

From such tomes as I have gathered together, I have so far, added 7 of my own works. These of my Books, which only add partially to a more complete lexicon of the lack of understanding we face, recognises the capacity for which, we are as yet to reach. Many of you will view The Holocaust through the Vista of a War that was raged against so many People. During a period of time, in which the savagery of brutal atrocity was levelled at a People, because they were Jews, we recognise this distinctly as The Holocaust. Plain and Simple. There has been a rancid hatred for a People who held to a belief system which adorned their persistence for 5,000 years. This is all that physically condemned them, and for no other reason. In the course of World War II, some 50 million, or even 70 million People, were escorted away from this life. My previous study of this event, renders such an incongruous loss, as to question the measure of a World’s own humanity. Here in my earlier study though, is a divergence I discovered as I failed to recognize it in a salutary image, we recognise The Stahlecker Report. A consensus that was stranded outside the entire panorama of a War waged against the World, suggested to me, I dig more deeply and this is where the cause of my writing changed. 

I am a failed novelist! At least my effort was declined Publishing on the basis it did not fit their market place. However, a Publisher was kind enough to suggest I write in historical terms. But, and upon my experience as an Irish migrant, amongst a nation which colonised us, I couldn’t consider it appropriate for me. I had no wish to face any criticism which might perceive my effort as either biased, or holding to a former catholic, but Irish background, amongst a Country which accepted me. Also, and it was apparent to those publisher agencies concerned, that my leanings were toward an historical vent I needed to expand upon. I then received an image which confirmed for me, a reason to approach History with a personal view of a private loss that I could not evaluate properly, nor shift from its internal confusion. This is where Tovah ‘Tokele’ Olshak came to redirect my closer attention. As a Child, I could not process the loss I had encountered. So now I have attempted to imagine how the Jewish People could ever manage to even attempt to understand how far humanity descended. Then too, I am studying how much inhumanity is directed toward the Annihilation of human beings. That Extermination directed against the Jews of Europe, is extricably linked to them, for simply not observing the demands hatred placed upon them, as Jews. It is apparent too that no such measure exists, even the term Genocide, which was designed to encapsulate some of its meaning, and that brings fully to the fore, the decapitation from life of so many Jewish People. 

It is a Fact also, that while 4,000 Irish Jews were the target for the Extinction program, and 9 Irish Jews were Extinguished, these 4,000 other Irish Jews are not actually Survivors of The Holocaust. It is essential to appreciate that the very term itself, The Holocaust, is given over exclusively to the 11,293,300 or 13,500,000 Jews of Europe who were Systematically targeted for Destruction. While this also included over 330,000 British Jews, who remained unaware of what Hitler intended for them, they too are not included as the Jewish Survivors. For me, the Jewish Survivor is an exclusive being, ritually targeted, but escaping from the direct line of fire Hitler placed them in. And though these Jews of Britain, and Ireland persist, they do not qualify as Survivors such as those who emerged from the Ghetto, the Death Camps, or indeed the from the Killing Sites must do.
